Our Policies

At the Refinery Spa we value our guests and the time that you have committed to self-care.  We do our very best to stay on time for each of our guests to provide the best experience possible.  We understand that life happens which may cause you to be a little late to your appointment or even have to cancel.  In order to respect our guests and professionals time ask that every guest review our policy’s.

Missed/Late Appointments

Running late? No Problem! Just give us a ring and let us know.  If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment or alter your service to fit the remaining time. You will still be responsible for the full service you were scheduled for.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment we ask for no less than 24 hours notice. This allows time for our professionals to fill their schedule with another guest. If you do not give 24 hours notice you may be subject to a 50% service fee.

We abide by a strict No show, no call policy in most cases. No shows will be charged 100% service fee to compensate our professionals time.

Children and Teenagers

At The Refinery spa, we want everyone to have a safe, relaxing experience. We ask that our clients abide by the following policies:

We love our kids and sometimes we just need a break… Children are welcome in the spa only if receiving services. This will give you as a busy parent time to relax, unwind, and focus just on your self care.

Children under the age of 12 may not receive a massage, facial, body, or waxing treatment.
Children ages 17 and under must have a parent or guardian in the spa throughout the duration of their treatment.

Hair Care: We offer the Barber-style Cut and the Scissor Cut for persons ages 5 to 17. Underage Partisans must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Skincare: Teenagers between the ages of 12 to 17 may receive facial services and/or facial and arm waxing. Underage clients — clients ages 17 and under — may not receive waxing services below the waist unless a parent has given signed consent and is present in the treatment room.
